Position: Energy Efficiency Event Representative
Job Type: Part-time, Contract, Customer Engagement

Do you love meeting new people, engaging in great conversations, and making a real difference in your community? We’re looking for outgoing, enthusiastic, and dynamic individuals to join our team as Event Representatives in Estevan, Saskatchewan!
This is your chance to be part of the SaskPower Energy Efficiency Discounts Campaign, running from May 19 to November 24. You’ll represent the campaign in select retail stores where you will interact with customers, educate them on energy-efficient products, and help them save money while protecting the planet.
Delivered by Summerhill, this campaign helps customers make smarter, greener choices by offering discounts on energy-efficient products. Your job? Bring the energy, share the info, and leave people feeling excited about saving power (and money!).

Job Responsibilities
- Educate customers on energy efficiency and related products (training provided)
- Set up, run, and take down event booths at stores
- Collect customer info and report participation data promptly
- Handle event materials and provide top-tier customer service
- Mandatory paid virtual training date to be determined
Job Qualifications/ Requirements
- Comfortable with email and internet applications
- Strong written and verbal communication in English
- Friendly, professional, and enthusiastic team player
- Quick learner; demo/presentation experience is a plus
- Can stand for up to 6 hours
- Access to a computer with internet
What you need to know:
- Paid virtual training is required (date TBD)
- You’ll work on various weekends between July and November
- You’ll also pick four extra days on the weekend to work that suit your schedule
Working Conditions
- Lift/move up to 20 lbs during setup/takedown
- Remain stationary during 6-hour shifts
Shift Times
9:30-10am Set-up (30 Min)
10 am-3 pm Event (5 Hours)
3:00-3:15 pm Take-down (15 Min)
Reporting at home after each shift (15 Min) – If two reps work an event together, only one will claim the extra 15 minutes for reporting.
