The Role
The department of Education is seeking a Placement Coordinator from August 31, 2025 - August 30, 2026 to perform the following tasks:
- Develop and maintain relationships with childcare centers and early learning providers to secure placement opportunities for students
- Coordinate and schedule student placements in alignment with program requirements and timelines
- Monitor and track student placement progress and address any issues or concerns that arise in consultation with the Chair or Instructors
- Utilize software for the coordination and scheduling of placements
- Act as the primary point of contact between NWP, students, and placement sites
- Ensure clear and effective communication regarding placement policies, procedures, and expectations
The successful candidate will receive $32.00 per hour.

Job Requirements
The successful candidate will have an education, early childhood, or administration related diploma. Experience in early childhood education, placement coordination, or career services is an asset. Necessary skills and attributes to be successful in this role include:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and other related software
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a related role
