W.O. Stinson & Son Ltd. is a family business specializing in fuel and propane distribution, HVAC services and the distribution of a complete line of automotive, commercial, industrial and agricultural motor oil. We are seeking a reliable and trustworthy top-level senior executive to join our team. This is a full-time, permanent, in-person position. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, organized, and able to multitask. Experience in the fuel industry would be an asset.

Primary job duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Overseeing and managing the day-to-day operations of the company
• Be available to respond and assist to significant events, good or bad, such as grand openings, spills, accidents or labour disputes within the company
• Developing and implementing business strategies and plans to ensure profitability
• Working with the company owners to help facilitate growth by increasing market share and maximizing profitability
• Working with the site managers to maximize growth and ensure each site is providing excellent customer service
• Leading and managing the commercial sales teams and implementing initiatives to increase profits through performance
• Setting and monitoring performance metrics to ensure the company is meeting its goals
• Assessing the company's marketing strengths and weaknesses to help develop programs to improve performance
• Building and maintaining relationships with key accounts and vendors
• Promptly address any customer or other issues that may arise
• Ensure that the company image is well-maintained and that the sites and vehicles are kept immaculate and well-maintained

Successful candidates must:

• Be reliable and able to maintain regular and consistent attendance and punctuality
• Have a strong work ethic and attention to detail
• Have strong communication skills to articulate goals and strategies to internal and external audiences clearly
• Be able to problem solve by addressing operational issues with practical and timely solutions
• Have proven management and leadership skills, including staffing, orientation, coaching, performance evaluations, training, and development
• Have proven professional management communication, interpersonal, persuasion, presentation, problem-solving, and analytical skills
• Have proven organization and planning skills, including strategic thinking and planning, and being results-oriented
• Have a valid driver's license and a satisfactory driving record
• Be willing to participate in required training
• Be customer service-oriented, friendly and outgoing
