- People Management - 5 years+ of experience leading and growing a sales team

- Strong communication - with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders and lead with context
- Self-starter - when you see a need, you address it. This is a brand new team, and being creative and having an entrepreneurial mindset is a must
- Bonus: Fluency with financial and investing concepts and experience in a Series A-C startup

- The primary focus of the Manager, Corporate Business Development is to build an industry-leading sales experience (for our clients) and team that connects and builds trust with clients so they want to invest at Wealthsimple
- This leader works in tight collaboration with Growth Marketing, Sales Operations, and Sales leadership to drive us to grow faster than any other financial service company in Canada
- Lead and scale a new BDR team focused on driving growth through outreach to new and existing clients for Corporate accounts
- Coach and develop 4 BDRs and foster a collaborative and high-performance work environment
- Own your revenue targets, metrics and performance, optimizing for sales funnel conversion, and pipeline management
- Leverage data to uncover insights that drive team optimization
- Partner closely with Growth Marketing, Revenue Operations and other sales leaders to share best practices and drive productivity, funnel conversion to scale the business
