JOB SUMMARY
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Manager to lead sales initiatives across multiple hotels in the Ottawa region. Reporting directly the Director of Sales, this is an exciting opportunity to join a collaborative team and make a national impact.
YOUR ROLE

Develop, present, and negotiate proposals for group bookings and business travel clients.

Manage and grow existing accounts while nurturing long-term client relationships.

Identify and secure new business opportunities through proactive prospecting, outside sales calls, and participation in industry events, trade shows, and sales blitzes.

Analyze sales reports, market trends, and competitive intelligence to inform strategic decisions.

Collaborate with the national Germain Hotels sales team to ensure consistent brand representation and maximize market presence.

Represent Germain Hotels at trade fairs, conferences, and targeted sales campaigns.

Demonstrate leadership through professionalism, customer service excellence, and in-depth product knowledge.
YOUR PROFILE

Proven experience (minimum three years) in hospitality sales or a related field.

College diploma or university degree as asset
-
Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Willingness to travel for sales activities and industry events.
-
Bilingualism (English/French) is an asset.
-
Strong proficiency in computer tools, particularly Word, Excel, Outlook and Opera Cloud.
