About the role

Lotus Group is proud to partner with our valued client, a respected building systems expert, to identify a high-energy Security Sales Representative based in Calgary, AB.

As the front-line ambassador for their Security division, you will hunt for new business, master their proven selling system, and turn prospects into long-term service partners. Reporting to the General Manager, you will deliver first-class sales for commercial security and business protection solutions to accelerate the growth of their expanding security portfolio across Southern Alberta.

This is a full-time, outside sales role for a self-starter who thrives on activity, accountability and uncapped earnings potential.

Role Responsibilities

  • Drive net-new revenue by connecting with potential clients and securing appointments through disciplined cold-calling, networking and referrals
  • Translate needs into solutions through leading site assessments, scoping electronic security systems, preparing proposals and closing multi-year service agreements
  • Own the sales funnel, including pipeline maintenance, forecasts and follow-ups in the CRM to keep opportunities moving forward
  • Hit weekly activity & revenue targets while championing our clients brand in the community
  • Collaborate across functions to ensure seamless project delivery and satisfied clients
  • Provide market feedback to refine go-to-market tactics and help scale a high-growth business unit
  • Leverage structured training and ride-along coaching to continuously sharpen product and sales expertise

Role Requirements

  • Ability to work full time in-person.
  • Valid Alberta driver's licence and clean driving record.
  • Willingness to travel throughout Calgary & southern Alberta.
  • Knowledge in security sales or related industries (business protection, surveillance, access control, fire monitoring, etc.).
  • Experience selling into the commercial sector preferred.
  • Familiarity with a longer sales cycle and outside sales is necessary.
  • Proven hunter who consistently exceeds quotas in B2B solution sales.
  • Exceptional organization and project-management skills to juggle multiple bids and follow-ups without dropping balls.
  • Demonstrated ability to build trust quickly and foster long-term client relationships.
  • Passion for learning new technology and embracing a structured, metrics-based sales methodology.
  • Team-oriented mindset and can-do attitude that thrives in a goal-driven culture.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Post-secondary education in business or a related field is an asset, but relevant experience will be considered.

Compensation: A comprehensive and competitive package, inclusive of a base salary commensurate with experience plus commissions, will be offered to the successful candidate.
