Job Description:
Reporting to the Manager of Campus Store Operations, the sales associate student position is responsible for the efficient, responsiveness, and safety of the Retail Area. The incumbent also supports and performs duties with curbside, Click and Collect area, placing incoming merchandise on shelves for resale as well as the assembly of course-related kits during the summer.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Operate a POS Terminal
- Preparing Products for Resale;
- Assists co-workers with the assembly of various course-related kits for the start of term;
- Assists co-workers with placing incoming merchandise on shelves;
- Pricing, barcoding, and securing merchandise according to Campus Store Policy.
Required Qualifications:
- High School Diploma;
- Minimum 6 months previous Shipping & Receiving or Retail Experience is an asset;
Requirements for this position include: / Employment Stipulations:
- This position is funded through the International Student Experience Fund (ISEF)
- The incumbent must be registered as an International Student with Algonquin College.
- Student must be in Business Admin Supply Chain Management program.
- You must be currently enrolled in a full-time program. The following students are not eligible: CSEP (College Student Employment Fund), Algonquin College employees paying a reduced tuition, Collaborative programs with the University of Ottawa or Carleton University and all programs that are not Ministry-approved.
