to join our growing team for summer projects across Nova Scotia.
Position Overview:
As a Security Guard with JOLCAR, you’ll be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment at various client sites. These roles are temporary/casual for summer
, with the possibility of transitioning into permanent full-time work
based on performance and project availability.

Requirements:
- Must be able to obtain a Security Guard License in Nova Scotia
- CSA-approved footwear
- Access to a reliable vehicle is considered a strong asset
- Strong communication and observation skills
- Dependable, professional, and a team player
- Able to work days, evenings, and weekends depending on assignment
Duties May Include:
- Patrolling premises and ensuring site safety
- Access control and visitor verification
- Monitoring for suspicious activity and reporting incidents
- Providing excellent customer service and enforcing site rules
