URD1500H1F – Selected Topics in Urban Design

Description:
This course will provide students with opportunities to study and carry out research on a contemporary subject within urban design. The instructor is encouraged to foreground forms of representation as a medium and/or tools of engagement in assignments.

Minimum Qualifications:
MArch with a MUD or MSc in Urban Planning degree and professional urban design experience preferred.

Preferred Qualifications:
Applicants with a proven record of scholarship and/or teaching urban design at the graduate level and knowledge of contemporary urban design issues.

Duties:
Preparation and delivery of course material; managing digital teaching materials; preparation and delivery of assignments, tests, final examinations and deferred final examinations; marking of student work, submission of grades, dealing with student enquiries, appeals and petitions and student contact hours.
