The Opportunity:

O.N.E. Transport Group is seeking a dynamic and experienced Branch Manager to lead our team in Grimshaw / Peace River.

We are looking for a highly motivated leader who will take ownership of the branch's daily operations, from staff management and customer service to strategic growth.

This is a "hands-on" role ideal for a manager who thrives on leading by example and is not afraid to step in to ensure the job gets done.

What You'll Do (Key Responsibilities):

  • Operational Leadership: Oversee all day-to-day operations, including dispatch, customer service, fleet/warehouse maintenance, and sales initiatives to ensure branch goals are met.
  • Team Management & Development: Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of drivers and branch staff. This includes hiring, training, scheduling, and conducting performance reviews to foster a positive and productive work environment.
  • Hands-On Support: Step in as needed to assist with driving, deliveries, and warehouse tasks. You will also manage administrative and clerical duties to ensure smooth branch operations.
  • Customer Relations: Build and maintain strong relationships with our customers, resolving any issues or complaints effectively to ensure satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Financial Oversight: Monitor and analyze the branch's financial performance, including revenue, expenses, and profitability, and implement strategies to achieve targets.
  • Compliance & Safety: Ensure all operations comply with company policies, procedures, and transportation regulations.

Who You Are (Required Qualifications):

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a managerial or supervisory role with direct responsibility for leading, coaching, and managing employees.
  • Proven ability to work in a hands-on capacity. You must be in good physical condition and able to consistently lift and move boxes up to 75 lbs./35kgs without assistance
  • Strong computer proficiency, including MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and the ability to quickly learn new logistics software.
  • A valid Class 5 Driver's License and the ability to provide a clean 3-year commercial driver's abstract.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to give clear direction and build strong relationships with both staff and clients.
  • Must be reliable, punctual, and have a flexible schedule with a willingness to work extra hours to meet operational demands.

What Sets You Apart (Preferred Qualifications):

  • 5+ years of experience in the transportation, logistics, or courier industry.
  • Previous experience in a logistics or warehousing environment is a significant asset.
  • Experience with sales management or business development.

Schedule: This is a full-time position, primarily Monday to Friday. As a manager, you must have the flexibility required to oversee all operations and meet business needs, which may occasionally include evenings or weekends.
