About this Opportunity

As a Community Sales Representative, you will be instrumental in driving sales and cultivating strong relationships within the community. Your primary responsibilities will include identifying new business opportunities through networking, meetings, and direct outreach, while overseeing the entire sales process from initial contact to closing the deal. You will be accountable for developing sales strategies and ensuring that customer needs are met through Execulink’s effective selling techniques.

We are looking for candidates with excellent communication skills and a proven history of success in a commission-based sales environment, ideally within the telecommunications sector. The role requires flexibility to work outside of regular hours, including evenings and weekends, to participate in community events and trade shows. Successful candidates will demonstrate resilience, self-motivation, and the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently. Familiarity with CRM applications and proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite are also essential.

Position Details:

  • Strathroy, Ontario
  • Full-Time, Forty (40) hours per week
  • Hours of work:
  • Monday to Friday, 8:30am-5:00pm
  • Availability to work on a flexible schedule in various locations to accommodate customer needs

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Identify new opportunities to drive sales through networking, meetings, inbound/outbound calls, emails, social media etc.
  • Manage the entire sales cycle from initial customer engagement to closed sales
  • Be accountable for sales planning, strategy development, and plan implementation
  • Maximize sales opportunities with every new customer by performing a needs assessment while utilizing Execulink’s selling techniques and company program
  • Maintain knowledge of competitor’s offerings, strategies and plans
  • Conduct outbound call campaigns to exceed corporate targets
  • Actively promote "Execulink" within your territory by engaging in community networking
  • This may involve working beyond regular hours, including evenings and weekends, to participate in industry trade shows, Chamber of Commerce events, and other community activities as necessary

Required Skills & Abilities:

  • Possess a valid Class G Driver’s License and have access to reliable transportation
  • Hold a university degree or college diploma, preferably with a focus in Business
  • Proven track record as a top sales performer in a commission-based environment
  • Preference will be given to candidates with experience in the telecommunications industry
  • Familiarity with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) applications
  • Proficient in a Windows PC environment, with strong keyboarding and data entry skills; adept in the Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Communicate clearly and effectively with confidence, utilizing superior sales skills to manage customer expectations and ensure an exceptional customer experience
  • Generate new accounts through proactive outreach and relationship-building
  • Demonstrate resilience and commitment by following up and overcoming challenges to convert prospects into clients
  • Engage successfully with customers through in-person meetings and inbound/outbound telephone interactions
  • Negotiate skillfully with a strong focus on closing deals
  • Consistently meet or exceed targets and expectations
  • Apply advanced knowledge of sales practices, tactics, and tools to drive results
  • Exhibit a self-motivated, results-oriented approach to achieving sales goals
