Working in the GovTech sector for our new bran d SOVRA , we are currently looking for a Marketing Specialist to join our team.

About the job

We are looking for a full-stack Growth Marketing Specialist to lead go-to-market efforts and drive performance across high-impact campaigns within SOVRA’s Supplier business. You will collaborate with specialists across digital, design, automation, events, and analytics to deliver full-funnel campaigns that generate engagement and measurable results. This full-time, in-office role is based at our Calgary location. It offers a unique dual reporting structure.

  • The VP of Marketing provides day-to-day direction, execution oversight, and performance guidance.
  • The General Manager of the Supplier Business sets strategic priorities and ensures alignment with commercial objectives.

This structure offers both strategic visibility and hands-on mentorship.

What will your primary responsibilities look like

  • Own and execute go-to-market plans for new initiatives
  • Design and run multichannel campaigns (SEO, SEM, email, paid social, website)
  • Support field marketing and event presence, including strategy, logistics, and promo
  • tion.Create and adapt content—web copy, blog posts, landing pages, case studies, and sales enablement as sets.
  • Use AI tools to boost content production, campaign targeting, and workflow efficiency
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Product, and Customer Success teams.
  • Monitor performance data and optimize campaigns based on key metrics
  • Contribute to overall brand consistency across Supplier programs.

What elements of your professional background will be needed and helpful in this role?

  • 4+ years of experience in full-stack or integrated marketing (preferably SaaS or Govtech)
  • Hands-on expertise in digital marketing (SEO, SEM, email, paid media, website management
  • Strong writing and messaging skills with attention to tone, clarity, and consistency
  • Passion for AI and experience (or curiosity) using AI tools in a marketing context.
  • Comfortable working cross-functionally and managing multiple priorities.
  • An analytical mindset with the ability to make decisions based on campaign performance
  • Required: Authorized to work in Canada – unfortunately, we are not able to sponsor work visas or transfers at this time.

What are the assets that would make you stand out?

  • Experience in marketing to public sector audiences.
  • Bilingual in English and French.
