Job Summary

The Security Supervisor assists in executing security programs while providing leadership and excellent customer service. This individual is responsible for supervising the security team as well as maintaining and upholding security standards to ensure all hazards and safety threats are addressed timely and comprehensively.

Job Duties

• Develops and implements security policies, protocols, and procedures. (Essential)
• Responds to emergencies, taking the appropriate action and documenting all incidents. (Essential)
• Handles and resolves resident and guest complaints and concerns or refers them to the appropriate team. (Essential)
• Coordinates team member selection and development and ensures team members comply with appropriate policies and procedures.
• Patrols park by foot and/or vehicle to observe and report suspicious activity.
• Physically checks all property points to ensure doors, gates, and restricted areas are secure and monitored at all times, including CCTV monitoring.
• Follows all safety procedures while performing duties.
• Answers questions concerning resort amenities, attractions, stores, etc.
• Performs security checks on guests, as needed.
• Attends meetings with other department heads to determine operational needs.
• Plans and coordinates security operations for events at the resort.
• Coordinates staff when responding to emergencies and alarms.
• Reviews and responds to all reports on incidents and breaches at the resort.
• Investigates and resolves all hazards, threats, and concerns at the resort.
• Performs regular and ongoing security reviews and checks throughout resort.
• Other duties as assigned.
• Tags vehicles for removal by owner from unrented transient sites.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED (Required)
• Bachelor's Degree (Preferred)
• 6 months in previous supervisory experience (Preferred)
• 6 months in experience in a security, customer service, or enforcement environment (Required)
• Excellent knowledge of security protocols and procedures
• Professional appearance
• Must have a valid driver's license
• Basic computer proficiency, including the ability to use email and the internet
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong organizational skills
• Must be able to lift at least 25 lbs
• Demonstrated leadership abilities
• Required Certifications/Licensures:(CPR Professional Rescuer)
• Required Certifications/Licensures:(First Aid)
• Required Certifications/Licensures:(Automated External Defibrillator Certification (AED) )
