Your Contribution:
Your main responsibilities
As an Indoor Air Quality Technician, you will work for Englobe’s Hygiene Health & Safety team.
Your responsibilities will be:

- Complete assigned activities with respect to the implementation of environmental projects including but not limited to:
- Follow a schedule provided by project managers or supervisor for specific tasks.
- Drive/Travel to specific sites to undertake site assessment work.
- Preparation of field notes, data analysis and evaluation. This shall include completing site visits, collecting samples, conducting site inspections and assessments. Project could include, but not limited to, asbestos and designated substances assessments, asbestos abatement inspections, oversight, and air monitoring, indoor air quality assessments, potable water assessments, radon assessments.
- Participate in technical report writing.
- Participate in project meetings, office meetings, health and safety inspections.
- Maintaining a commitment to exceeding client expectations by consistently delivering high quality of work;
- Consistently maintaining professionalism and objectivity while working with colleagues and clients who require varying degrees of support.
- Handling difficult situations with tact and diplomacy to maintain positive working relationships with all internal and external contacts.
- Develop and maintain client relationships. Conducting project administration tasks as required, including time-sheet generation, organizing and filing, equipment calibration and maintenance and project invoicing.
- Apply and promote Englobe’s health and safety rules.

What makes you unique
- Demonstrated oral and written communication skills.
- Proficient with use of MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail and able to complete work within established timeframes.
- Ability to work regular business hours and outside of regular business hours (based on project requirements).
- Ability to occasionally travel (based on project requirements)
- Team-oriented and an excellent communicator.
- Valid driver's license.
- This position requires consistent access to a reliable personal vehicle, as it is essential for work-related travel, including attending site visits, meetings, and other site-specific tasks. Employees are responsible for ensuring that their vehicle is properly insured, maintained, and complies with all legal requirements for road use. Englobe will reimburse mileage expenses incurred for the work-related use of a personal vehicle, in accordance with company policy.
- Possession of or eligibility to obtain/apply for provincial or federal security clearance required.
- Demonstrated sensitivity and consideration for occupational health and safety.
