Job Summary
We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Counter Staff to join our team in a fast-paced food service environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, assisting with food preparation, and ensuring a clean and sanitary workspace. This role is crucial in creating a positive dining experience for our customers while maintaining the highest standards of food safety.

Duties

• Greet customers warmly and assist them with their orders, ensuring a friendly atmosphere.
• Prepare food items according to established recipes and standards, adhering to food safety regulations.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the counter area, kitchen equipment, and dining space.
• Handle cash transactions accurately, including processing payments and giving change.
• Assist in upselling menu items to enhance customer satisfaction and increase sales.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient service during peak hours.
• Monitor inventory levels and assist in restocking supplies as needed.

Skills

• Strong understanding of food safety practices and regulations.
• Experience in food preparation within a restaurant or food industry setting is preferred.
• Basic math skills for cash handling and order processing.
• Ability to sanitize work areas effectively to maintain health standards.
• Excellent communication skills with a focus on customer service.
• Capability to upsell menu items effectively while assisting customers.
• A helpful attitude towards both customers and team members.

Pay: $16.55-$21.86 per hour
