Bell Media’s social and digital content team is looking for a highly organized self-starter who lives and breathes all things social media. Operating in a fast-paced, exciting, and collaborative environment with globally recognized entertainment brands and series, we create culturally relevant social and digital content that stands out in the vast landscape of news, entertainment and lifestyle editorial.
As the social media coordinator, you will be responsible for many of the administrative and coordinating functions in support of social content development for Crave and CTV series. You’ll be invited to ideate and will assist with creative and social production aspects for shows that may include Sullivan’s Crossing, Canada’s Drag Race, Project Runway Canada, Heated Rivalry, MasterChef Canada, The Amazing Race Canada and more. Help on set as required.
Key Responsibilities
- Facilitating ideation brainstorms, taking pitch notes and compiling into draft content plans
- Social content calendar administration
- Coordinating social content shoots
- Asset sourcing and delivery management
- Archiving / organization of media and materials
- Cross functional asset collaboration and campaign coordination
- Social media reporting and preparing presentation materials
- Vendor creation, invoice processing and budget tracking
- Project management
- Other duties as assigned
- This is a 1 year contract
Critical Qualifications
- Post-secondary degree or diploma, in television or media or a relevant field or equivalent education and experience
- Passionate interest in entertainment and lifestyle culture and are always up-to-date with the latest news, trends and discussions.
- Expert knowledge of all social media platforms
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Must be extremely organized and detail oriented
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs, and experience with Monday.com, Sprout and Canva is an asset
- Ability to work well under pressure, possess excellent time management skills, be a self-starter, multi-task and meet assigned deadlines
- Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
- Positive, proactive, and collaborative team player
Adequate knowledge of French is required for positions in Quebec.
