About the role
As a Project Manager, you will build on your focus and knowledge of project management and client management, and continue to develop relationships and business acumen in the Canadian wealth management industry. Under the direction of a Program Manager, you will participate in RPM’s software deliveries and support our client management activities.
Key Accountabilities
Participate in RPM software delivery and implementation planning of wealth management solutions
Assist in defining the project scope and deliverables using well-developed business analysis skills gained while completing transformational projects with wealth management software
Support the RPM Program Manager in developing and maintaining project plans, project tasks and resource requirements
Assist in managing project budget, timelines, and resource allocations using in depth knowledge of MS Project
Assist in preparation of project status reports and other project documentation as required using in depth knowledge of MS Project
Track project deliverables using appropriate tools
Hone your knowledge of the financial services industry regulatory and business environments
Qualifications And Experience
5 years in an project management role at a Financial Services Institution or in a Fintech company delivering and implementing wealth management solutions to Banking, IIROC and MFDA organizations
PMP Certified
Experience leading a project and leading multiple in parallel
Post-secondary Education, preferably with a focus on subjects such as Computer Science, Project Management, Software
Development or Business
Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
A proactive, “service-first” attitude combined with superior interpersonal and presentation skills
Ability to work independently on projects, with tight deadlines, under minimal supervision
Understanding and experience in the financial services industry, preferably in banking, mutual funds and/or securities is required
