Responsibilities:
-
Using a variety of tools (Facebook, 411 etc.) you will investigate sources that lead to the location of a displaced consumer or debtor
-
Investigate sources in an effort to locate assets on personal and/or commercial accounts
-
Document in house systems with details of file activity
-
Establish contact with consumers (by telephone) to determine and confirm if findings are accurate
-
Negotiate payment of debts in accordance with client and company guidelines
-
Investigate and advise on different forms of payment and/or settlement options
-
Clearly document/update files on the system to support file activity
-
Uphold the CCA Code of Conduct by ethically treating each consumer with integrity, honesty, dignity and respect at all times
Qualifications:
-
3rd party collections or Skip Tracing experience considered an asset
-
Customer service and call centre experience considered an asset
-
Strong investigative skills
-
Excellent verbal and written communication
-
Self-motivated, goal and detail oriented
-
Sound decision making and judgement
-
Strong organizational skills
-
Dedicated and ethical
-
Ability to work individually and with a team in a fast paced environment
-
Solid computer skills
-
Strong grasp of the English language
-
Ability to think outside of the box to reach a solution

Successful candidates will be subject to a criminal record check
Requirements:
-
To meet provincial licensing requirements, candidates holding a Work Permit must ensure it has at least 6 months of validity remaining at the time of application
No previous experience is necessary! CCA offers licensing as well as a unique training program that focuses on negotiation skills, financing options and investigative techniques.
