Position Overview:
As a Service Biller, you will be responsible for ensuring: timely printing and delivery of required paperwork for work orders to the shop floor, processing of the estimate & quotation for all assigned Finning Remanufacturing components, creation of shipping paperwork for all assigned Finning Exchange components, and pricing & invoicing of work orders and electronic filing of all associated paperwork. You will coordinate activities with internal and external customers to ensure the timely processing of all job functions, while providing a superior level of communication and customer service.
Please note that this is a temporary, full-time role expected to last approximately one year.
Job Description:
- Create and distribute daily reports to internal and external customers
- Print and distribute work orders in a timely fashion
- Responsible for ensuring timely and accurate distribution of document change notifications (DCNs) to the floor
- Preparation/creation of estimates for work required to rebuild components using the information received from production
- Detailed review of the estimates created ensuring the information contained in the report is accurate (includes labour, parts, service letters, 0R core credits, etc.)
- Preparation of quotations, where required, to include all appropriate parts, labour and additional information
- Working with the necessary parties – internal and/or external, to resolve discrepancies impeding successful quotation completion
- Daily communication with other Service Billers and Customer Service Team to ensure alignment of activities and consistent application of OEM processes
- Collaborate with Component Procurement coworkers to process paperwork to ship finished components from OEM to Finning Branches and provide paperwork to OEM Shipping
- Coordinate with OEM Production Planners on rush shipments from OEM to Finning Branches/End Users
- Pricing invoices for Finning Accounts Receivable
- Process Accounts Receivable invoices for Finning and Non-Finning customers
- Scanning of files to OEM Remanufacturing’s electronic filing system
- Close/process internal fabrication work orders
- Ensure uninterrupted office supply ordering and maintain 5S standards in supply rooms/cabinets
- Provide break and lunch phone coverage for receptionist, along with coverage for receptionists vacation/sick days
- Other administration duties as required
Qualifications:
- Experience in a service billing environment, preferably in the heavy equipment industry is considered an asset but not a requirement
- Diploma in business or equivalent is considered an asset but not a requirement
- Previous Administrative experience is required
- Strong problem-solving ability
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated analytic, written, and oral communications skills
- Excellent prioritization and organization skills
- Ability to adapt to change
- Strong working knowledge of MS Office, particularly Excel and Outlook

- This is a temporary, full-time position based out of our Edmonton OEM Remanufacturing facility, and is expected to last approximately one year
- This position is Monday – Friday, 40 hours per week
