In this role, you'll support a wide range of communications initiatives with a large focus on brand storytelling and internal communications. You'll be responsible for telling the story of each of our brands to both internal and external audiences, developing content that supports our mission and strategic goals. Your responsibilities will include supporting business units with internal communications, writing and compiling content for the internal newsletter, developing and maintaining a content calendar for our intranet and creating and posting engaging content to support it, and supporting the communications team as required.

The ideal candidate will have a passion for storytelling, exceptional writing and communication abilities, and the creativity to engage employees, our patients/customers, and the communities in which we serve. We're seeking a natural communicator and writer with keen attention to detail and strong time management skills who can effectively craft and deliver our brand narratives across all touchpoints.

We are ideally seeking a candidate located in Calgary AB, where our Home Office is located.

What Will You Be Doing?

• Translating our company values, mission, and business objectives into compelling brand narratives
• Curating, writing, and publishing high-quality stories and articles for the company intranet, monthly newsletters, and other internal platforms
• Crafting and delivering engaging narratives that connect with target audiences and reinforce our brand's values - ensuring a consistent brand voice, tone, and visual identity
• Developing and executing communication strategies that keep employees informed, engaged, and aligned with company goals
• Developing and maintaining editorial intranet calendar and ensure timely delivery of content
• Writing, editing, and distributing communication documents including monthly newsletter, corporate-wide emails, presentations, internet/intranet content, and video scripts
• Hosting town halls and webinars
• Assisting with event planning and internal communications requests as required
• Communications support for all of our Community Connections programs

As The Successful Candidate, You Have

• Post-secondary education in communications, public relations, marketing, or related business discipline
• 1-2 years experience in a corporate communications environment is an asset
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with Publicate, Mailchimp, Canva is a plus
• Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills with a strong attention to detail
• Strong verbal communication skills and the ability to present ideas clearly to various audiences
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines
• Previous experience maintaining intranet sites is considered an asset
• A team player who can easily align with various departments with varying requirements
• Excellent administrative and organizational skills
