About the role

Job Summary: The Finance Manager at our car dealership is responsible for overseeing all financial activities related to the sales and financing of vehicles. This role requires a deep understanding of automotive financing and leasing options, as well as strong customer service skills to ensure a smooth and transparent transaction process for customers. The Finance Manager will work closely with the sales team and customers to provide financing options, process documentation, and ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. F&I Product Sales: Offer and explain additional products and services such as extended warranties, service contracts, and insurance to enhance the customer's vehicle ownership experience. Provide clear explanations of benefits and costs associated with these products.

  2. Customer Financing: Assist customers in securing appropriate financing options for vehicle purchases. Explain various financing and leasing options, including terms, interest rates, and warranties, ensuring customers understand their financial obligations.

  3. Documentation Management: Manage and process all documentation related to vehicle sales, financing, and leasing agreements. Ensure accuracy and compliance with legal and regulatory standards, including contracts, loan agreements, and DMV paperwork.

  4. Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with financial institutions, to secure competitive financing options for customers. Negotiate terms and rates with lenders to ensure favorable arrangements for the dealership and customers.

  5. Sales Team Collaboration: Collaborate closely with the sales team to ensure a seamless transition from vehicle selection to the financing process. Provide support and guidance to the sales team on financing options and processes to enhance overall customer satisfaction.

  6. Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service throughout the financing process. Address any customer concerns or inquiries related to financing, payments, or documentation with professionalism and transparency.

  7. Team Training: Conduct training sessions for the sales team on financing processes, product knowledge, and customer communication strategies. Keep the team informed about updates in financing regulations and market trends.

Qualifications:

· Proven experience in automotive financing or a similar role within the automotive industry.

· Thorough knowledge of automotive financing, leasing, and aftermarket products.

· Strong understanding of financial regulations and compliance standards within the automotive industry.

· Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with a customer-centric approach.

· Proficiency in relevant software and tools for managing financial documentation and reporting.

· Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and meet sales targets.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Flexible language requirement:

  • 8 hour shift
  • Monday to Friday
  • Weekends as needed

Education:

  • Bachelor's Degree (preferred)

Experience:

  • Automotive Finance Manager: 2 years (preferred)
