Sales Representative
Overview of the role:
Schedule: Monday to Friday
This exciting role is responsible for managing all aspects of the Sales function in an efficient and effective manner, this position services a defined customer list within a geographic sales territory in the Saint John area. The Sales Representative will manage the profitability of these customers, and the products that are distributed within this territory, as well as create business plans that meet the agreed Saputo Dairy Products Division contribution levels.

How you will make contributions that matter:
Achieve the gross margin and volume targets as assigned to your territory.

Develop and grow the Saputo Book of Business through new business acquisition.
-
Prepare and present business reviews to customers and internal stakeholders.
-
Communicate internally with Saputo Sales, Finance, & Distribution Depts to maximize customer opportunities
-
Develop and maintain knowledge of the local market and community.

Initiate and evaluate opportunities for ‘continuous improvement’ throughout the geographical market area.
-
Maintain a high level of competitor knowledge in terms of products, pricing, discounts, promotions and sales.

Develop and implement a schedule for customer contact.
-
Develop territory growth plans and execute these plans through the course of the year.

Actively manage the profitability and gross margin of sales territory and develop the necessary plans and corrective action to meet the target profitability of territory and customer base.

Other duties as assigned.
You are best suited for the role if you have the following qualifications:
A minimum of 2 years of sales experience in a company-to-company environment.
- Post-secondary education in business desired or a minimum of two years of sales experience in a company-to-company environment.
- Background in the Consumer-Packaged Goods business channel would be a definite asset.
- Proficient computer skills (Excel, Powerpoint, experience with employing internal Sales Analysis data
- Career-oriented, self-motivated, with leadership qualities. A team minded contributor.
- Ability to work under pressure and establish priorities.
- Sound communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and analytical skills.
Salary range: $60,530 - $75,610 *
- Salary offers will vary commensurate with experience, education, skills, and training
