About the role
We are currently looking to hire an amazing Patient Care Coordinators for our busy, out patient physical therapy practice in NW Calgary.
Looking for a passionate person who is willing to work Part Time (Monday-Tuesday- Wednesday 4pm-9pm, and alternating Saturdays). Candidate must be able to work at lease 2 -3 shifts with those hours.
A successful candidate will improve our client’s overall experience and enhance our clinic's professional image. Looking for a key player in the growth of our clinic. Someone with creativity and innovative ideas to develop positive patient experience strategies as well as increased efficiency in day to day administration.

Job duties will include:

Welcoming patients as they arrive

Answering phones

Takes initiative and is engaging with clients and team members

Scheduling patients

Ensuring that patients attend their appointments

Collection of patient payments

Management of our call log
-
New patient intake/communication
-
Weekly reports
-
Maintain a clean front office and waiting room

Verification of Insurance Benefits
-
Explanation of Benefits to newly evaluated patients
-
Handling the sales process to help patients get fully signed up for care

Scheduling patients after their evaluation
-
Ordering supplies, managing volunteers and other office needs
-
Data Entry – you need to be proficient with Microsoft Office Products and basic data entry

Verifying Insurance Benefits

Filing insurance claims
Candidate needs to have a pleasant demeanor, a positive forward-thinking outlook, the willingness and ability to work with others as a team member, great organization and multi-tasking skills and a desire to have a long-term position with our company while growing with us.
