Your role is mainly acted on remotely, from the comfort of your home or your favourite working space. You will be required to attend some in-person trainings/meetings in the Kitchener/Waterloo area.

THE ROLE

THE ROLE
- Create and send invoices to customers, ensuring accurate billing information.
- Receive and process payments from customers, reconciling accounts, and verifying payments.
- Collect revenue by reminding delinquent accounts and notifying customers of insufficient payments.
- Prepare financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information and trends.
- Maintain accounting ledgers by posting account transactions.
- Verify accounts by reconciling statements and transactions.
- Resolve account discrepancies by investigating documentation, issuing stop payments and adjustments.
- Onboard new customers and communicate relevant company policies
- Assist in maintaining and running payroll as required by CFO/Controller
- Special accounting projects as requested by CFO/Controller
- Participate in monthly close process to ensure financial records prepared accurately and timely according to established procedures
- Working co-operatively with other team members
- Completes other accounting tasks as assigned
REQUIREMENTS

- Must be highly proficient in the English language
- Bachelor's or associate degree in accounting, finance, or related.
- At least 4 years’ experience as an accounts receivable specialist, or similar.
- In-depth knowledge of accounts receivable principles, accounting standards, and industry regulations.
- Extensive experience in account reconciliation.
- Proficient on excel - pivot tables, vlookups for data manipulation
- Must be open to spirituality and growth training
- Keen attention to detail.
- Knowledge of payroll systems a plus
- Great time management and organizational skills.
- Excellent collaboration and communication abilities.
- Experience with Sage Intacct and BrightPearl ERP a plus

- Be a YES AND person
- Ability to adapt and solve problems independently with strong attention to detail
- Excellent communication and critical thinking skills
- Must be flexible, some weeks require more hours, some less, with a few hours on the weekends

Our e-commerce company started a mere 5 years ago but is blooming with growth! Founded by renowned naturopathic doctor, Marisol Teijeiro, the company’s roots date back to 10 years ago, when Marisol barely out of Naturopathic Medical School, took a messy, DIY health treatment & invented the only heatless, less-mess, reusable castor oil pack (a natural health practice that improves digestion & other foundational health functions).
Our company primarily sells castor oil kits and other self-care products and informational training. Our next phase of growth into done for you services, Not For Profit Research, Property Management of health retreats, ownership of supply chain and apps.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $55,000.00 per year
