We’re currently looking for a Manager – Financial Optimization & Performance.
Reporting directly to the General Manager, the person in this role will be responsible for analyzing, planning, and executing strategies aimed at enhancing the efficiency and profitability of our financial operations. This leadership position involves identifying operational gaps, streamlining financial processes, and implementing tools and systems that support strategic decision-making, sustainable growth, and long-term financial stability.

JOB DESCRIPTION
UN OVERVIEW OF THE MANDATE:

  • Contribute to the annual budgeting process and ensure real-time monitoring and analysis of expenditures.

  • Conduct in-depth financial analyses to support management decision-making and identify optimization opportunities.

  • Monitor and analyze inventory valuation and recommend corrective actions, when needed.

  • Support long-term financial planning and help defining the company’s strategic objectives.

  • Optimize financial and operational processes through a continuous improvement approach, including cost management, inventory control, and cash flow optimization.

  • Enhance the use of financial management tools and systems by developing and updating performance indicators (KPIs).

  • Help maintain strong working relationships with financial institutions, auditors, and business partners.

  • Assist with the coordination and follow-up of grant applications.

  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.

GENERAL SKILLS
YOU ARE THE PERSON WE ARE LOOKING FOR IF:

  • University degree in finance, accounting, business administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in financial analysis, budgeting, and inventory management.
  • A combination of education and relevant experience may be considered.
  • CPA designation (an asset).
  • Strong proficiency in Excel and financial management tools (e.g., ERP systems, Power BI).
  • Knowledge of SQL programming (an asset).
  • Bilingualism (French and English) is required due to collaboration with our Ontario team.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to simplify complex financial information.
  • Strong analytical skills, autonomy, and attention to detail.
  • Sense of responsibility and proven ability to manage priorities effectively.
  • Ability to multitask and meet tight deadlines.
