Summary
Signet Monitoring and Analysis, a Spartan Controls company, provides emission testing, vibration analysis, and reliability engineering to optimize equipment performance. Based in Red Deer, Alberta, our expert team serves Western Canada, meeting increasing industry demands.
We are currently recruiting for a Product Support Technician based in our Red Deer Service Centre. This diverse role will have various responsibilities of supporting our Ignition Repair and Harness Fabrication team. This position will report to the Emissions Manager, in Red Deer.
Role and Responsibilities
- Service, assemble ignition, pyro harnesses and ignition components
- Interface with internal customers and external vendors
- Data input on the computer through working with various operating systems
- Filing of work orders, and other items as necessary
- Handling of incoming, outgoing, and internal deliveries
- Packaging outgoing shipments
- Coordinate repair returns, warranty confirmation, and tracking
- Fulfilling orders for customers on services provided
- Maintenance of the warehouse - cleanliness of work areas
Qualifications and Skills
- Mechanically knowledgeable and good use of hand tools
- Understanding basic wiring diagrams
- Preference will be given to candidates with prior engine ignition systems and their components
- SAP experience considered an asset
- Strong computer skills (MS Office with emphasis on Word and Excel)
- Excellence in customer service
- Ability to work independently as well as in team environment
- Proven organization, prioritizing, and multi-tasking skills
- Detail-oriented
- Valid Class 5 Drivers license
- Must be physically capable of lifting to 50 lbs.
- Entrepreneurial work ethic
