Your Opportunity!

We are currently hiring a Part-Time Temporary Transportation Coordinator (3 days/week, contract ends on or around December 31, 2025). In this role, you’ll play a key part in ensuring the smooth daily operations of our transportation services. Working closely with clients, drivers, and community partners, you will coordinate routes and schedules to help clients maintain their independence and access essential services. This role is ideal for someone who is organized, proactive, and comfortable working both independently and collaboratively in a client-focused environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate daily transportation schedules and routes for clients, ensuring reliable and timely service
  • Communicate with clients, drivers, staff, and community partners to ensure service delivery meets individual needs
  • Maintain accurate records of trips, mileage, incidents, and vehicle maintenance
  • Monitor vehicle conditions and coordinate repairs as needed
  • Schedule and support additional programs such as Meals on Wheels, wellness classes, and social programs
  • Respond to client concerns or service issues in a professional and timely manner
  • Track and submit statistical data monthly, quarterly, and annually
  • Collect and reconcile client payments (e.g., transportation or service fees)
  • Represent Community Outreach Services at public events, meetings, and community functions when needed

Job Requirements:

  • Current CPR and First Aid certification considered an asset
  • Previous experience working with seniors, adults, and people with disabilities
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Publisher), Canva, and database programs
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Self-starter with a flexible, conscientious, and adaptive approach
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Access to a reliable vehicle, valid driver’s license, and clean driving record
