The Senior Email Technology Analyst is an advanced user of the Salesforce Marketing Cloud email platform and is responsible for the setup, maintenance and deployment management of The Home Depot’s email program within SFMC. This role requires extensive technical comprehension of SFMC, Einstein, and Journey-Builder. The Senior Email Technology Analyst is accountable for organizing the segmentation and personalization set up in SFMC as well as live testing, quality assurance testing and deployment of all emails.
Key Responsibilities:
Technical Salesforce Lead
- Lead the development of new email journeys, personalization, segmentation, and support A/B testing, while providing recommendations on how Salesforce platform can advance Home Depot’s digital transformation
- Be the technical lead on the email team for SFMC, Litmus, Tableau, SQL and AMPScript coding, supporting the team of developers as required
- Assist in development of single-send and static email campaigns when needed
- Lead organization of QA testing and timely campaign deployments
- Provide “backup” development coverage for our 3 developers across our weekly campaigns
Analytical Management
- Assist in the creation and maintenance of automated email engagement reporting to stakeholders and handle individual requests
- Analyze and report on a scheduled and ad-hoc basis. Reporting should include predetermined KPI measurements as well as highlighting successes, trends and opportunities
Technology
- Recommend, integrate and support marketing technology products (Movable Ink and API feeds into SFMC) as required based on individual email objectives
- Stay on-top of emerging tech-stack products within the SF eco-system
Automation and Segmentation
- Manage lists and segments within SFMC in order to deploy dynamic, localized, and personalized emails
- Apply all planned segmentation and A/B tests to emails prior to scheduled deployment
- Lead the development of email automation and trigger deployments
- Build segments within platform using data-driven insights while working closely with internal personalization team
Compliance and Best Practices
- Monitor quality (list/trigger health, API feeds), health of customer privacy, and compliance within marketing technology products and trouble-shoot any issues
- Monitor data flow and accuracy. Play a key role to ensure The Home Depot is meeting all compliance requirements and guidelines
- Recommend, implement and document email best practices
Partnering
- Collaborate with the CRM, production and marketing teams to ensure the email campaign delivers on the objectives.
- Collaborate with Analytics teams to manage lists and segments within SFMC in order to deploy dynamic, localized, and personalized emails
- Collaborate with Product team to implement and improve marketing technology products
- Act as day-to-day lead and administrator for all internal and external SFMC users
