Position Overview

Under the direction of the Quality Team Manager, the Quality Technician III is responsible for support of: Raw Material releases and Quality Services. Raw material tasks include but not limited to review of open raw material inspection lots, investigating raw material issues, issuing raw material QNs, communication with vendors and assisting team members. Quality Service tasks include but not limited to replying to quality service emails, rush releases, lab purchases, issuing POs and invoice processing, managing intralab program, support on trace team, monthly KPI reports

Key Responsibilities

  • Replying to quality service emails including rush releases 25%

  • Investigating raw material issues and issuing raw material QNs 20%

  • Assisting team members 15 %

  • Review of open raw material inspection lots 10%

  • Communication with vendors 10 %

  • QA Lab purchase order, invoice processing responsibilities for entire lab 5%

  • Management of intralab program 5%

  • Support on trace team 5%

  • Monthly KPI reports 5%

Required Qualifications

  • Level of Education and Discipline: BSc/BA in Food Science, Biology, Chemistry, relevant science discipline or relevant quality experience.

  • Experience - functional/industry/commercial knowledge, business acumen: 3+ years of Food manufacturing QC experience.

  • Interpersonal Skills - leadership, interactions, communication, influence: Ability to work independently Flexibility in work hours, highly organized excellent verbal and written communication skills required.

  • Other Skills and HPO Competencies: SAP , Microsoft office proficiency

Preferred Qualifications

  • Level of Education and Discipline: BSc/BA in Food Science, Biology, Chemistry or relevant science discipline

  • Experience - functional/industry/commercial knowledge, business acumen: SAP experience preferred
