Position Overview:

As Modular Fabrication Segment Lead, you will oversee the entire lifecycle of our modular projects from business development and budgeting to operations and delivery. You will play a critical role in setting strategic direction, building high-performing teams, and ensuring project excellence. You will collaborate with internal departments and external stakeholders to meet deadlines, achieve financial goals, and deliver outstanding modular solutions.

In this role, you will lead a diverse team through complex modular building initiatives while managing operations and performance metrics. Your leadership will directly influence the growth and success of our modular division.

Responsibilities include:

  • Lead Generation: identify and pursue modular prefab business opportunities across commercial, residential, industrial and infrastructure sector applications to match market & industry growth across existing and new market opportunities
  • Client Relationship Management: build and maintain relationships with new and existing clients including associated general contractors, developers, architects and other stakeholders and act as the primary point of contract for clients and all stakeholders
  • Sales: lead the development of all proposals, bids in response to client through collaboration with internal teams such as estimating, operations and technical proposals groups. Responsibility for the negotiation of all contract terms, pricing, timelines with clients.
  • Strategic Growth: Develop and implement plans for strategic business development considering new potential markets, new applications, new technologies to integrate into product solution.
  • Reporting & Metrics: track and report on key performance indicators for sales, pipeline, production, logistics, budgets and financial targets across business profile.
  • HSQE: responsible for all health and safety, quality and environmental considerations for product offerings, operations of manufacturing facility, shipment and logistics

Qualifications include:

  • Post secondary degree or diploma from a business or technical program is preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience leading modular construction projects, and managing budgets, forecasts, and financial performance with accuracy.

The original corporate entity of Amico was created in April, 1987 when company owner and president, Mr. Dominic Amicone began business as Amico Contracting & Engineering Inc.
