THE TEAM
The mission of the Global Logistics Department is to deliver Everyday Luxury through the global transportation of goods.
THE OPPORTUNITY
Aritzia is growing and our Global Logistics team is growing with it. This is a unique opportunity to be part of the team responsible for ensuring the timely arrival of freight into our Distribution Network. As the Specialist, Global Logistics, Inbound, you will support the execution of the efficient flow of goods and information from origin to destination. THE ROLE
As the Specialist, Global Logistics, Inbound, you will:
- Execute best-in-class end-to-end air freight operations, including volume planning, carrier coordination and timely booking management
- Deliver a seamless logistics experience by managing in-transit tracking, proactively handling exceptions, and communicating updates to stakeholders
- Manage departmental administration, ensuring seamless day-to-day business operations
- Proactively mitigate risks and impacts associated with daily operations, minimizing potential disruption to the business
THE QUALIFICATIONS
The Specialist, Global Logistics, Inbound, has:
- Proven skills, certifications, education and/or experience in:
- Air freight operations, specifically importing into North America
- Air freight industry trends, with established partnerships across international freight forwarders and logistics providers
- Retail fashion logistics, including speed-to-market, high SKU variability, and demand impacts to inbound transportation
- Practical knowledge and application of INCOTERMS
- Microsoft Office Suite with advanced Excel capabilities
- Accurate data entry skills
- Experience with SAP and SharePoint is an asset
- A commitment to learn and apply Aritzia's Values and Business and People Leadership principles
- The ability to collaborate fluently with cross-functional partners
- A commitment to quality and investing in results that add value to the business
THE COMPENSATION
The typical hiring range for this position is $24–$48 CAD per hour. The final agreed upon salary may vary based on factors such as job-related knowledge, skills and experience.
