- Managing EDI operations for multiple major retail partners with strict compliance requirements and costly chargeback penalties
- Balancing inventory allocation across competing retail channels during peak demand periods
- Operating in a fast-paced environment where compliance issues can impact relationships worth millions in revenue
- Retail partners have complex, evolving requirements that require constant monitoring and quick adaptation
- Order volumes fluctuate significantly, requiring agile coordination across internal teams
What You'll Actually Do
- Serve as the critical bridge between our company and retail partners while building processes that scale with our growth.
- Master EDI operations: Manage daily purchase orders, invoices, and ASNs while ensuring 100% compliance with retailer-specific requirements and minimizing chargebacks
- Build strategic partnerships: Develop and maintain relationships with key contacts at retail partners, becoming their trusted point of contact for all fulfillment matters
- Drive operational excellence: Coordinate cross-functionally to ensure accurate, timely order fulfillment while identifying process improvements through data analysis
- Manage complexity: Navigate retailer-specific requirements, maintain comprehensive documentation, and communicate changes effectively across internal teams
- Optimize performance: Analyze fulfillment data to identify bottlenecks, recommend solutions, and implement improvements that enhance partner satisfaction
Requirements
- 3+ years experience in logistics, vendor management, or retail operations
- Strong understanding of EDI systems and retail compliance requirements
- Experience managing relationships with major retail partners
- Analytical mindset with ability to identify process improvements through data
- Excellent communication and coordination skills across multiple stakeholders
- Detail-oriented with ability to manage multiple complex requirements simultaneously
