Job Duties

Set up and monitor practicums:
The monitor is required to zoom with the student and practicum site supervisor a minimum of one time. Additional meetings may be required.

For the purpose of monitoring the practicum experience, the monitor may be required to travel to do onsite visits. The practicum monitor is required to use a personal vehicle for all travel involved and may be required to visit during shift or weekend hours.

QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS, ABILITIES AND EXPERIENCE

Required Qualifications

  1. Recognized relevant four-year degree (Bachelor of Social Work, Bachelor of Indigenous Social Work, Bachelor of Education Degree) or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.

  2. Two years recent and relevant work experience working with services to individuals with varying abilities.

  3. Able to function as a team member in an ever-changing environment.

  4. Demonstrated competence and recent experience in the use of the internet, e-mail, MS Office Suite software and the ability to learn and adapt to changing technology.
