Logistics Clerk Position Summary Reporting to the Logistics Director, the Logistics Clerk will perform daily clerical tasks related to logistics and project administration. This role is essential to the day-to-day operation of internal operations.
Core Responsibilities
- Efficiently sort a large volume of emails to extract key information.
- Retrieve relevant information and ensure accuracy.
- Maintain daily and weekly reports for each project for Project Directors, Construction Managers and field teams.
- Categorize and integrate information according to defined sections and tabs in appropriate reports.
- Manage the processing of invoices and their request for approval, file and upload them to the document management system.
- Work with various internal stakeholders to ensure the quality and reliability of the data transmitted.
Requirements
- Business administration or logistics studies.
- Proven experience in data entry.
- Excellent knowledge of Excel, Word and Outlook.
- Experience in international logistics is an asset.
- Ability to communicate in both English and French is required; Spanish or Portuguese is an asset.
Abilities
- Hard-working person.
- Strong organizational skills and rigour.
- Analytical and detail oriented.
- Curious by nature with a desire to learn.
- Ability to learn quickly in a dynamic environment.
- Comfortable working in a multicultural and multilingual environment.
Additional Information
- The position is based at the G Mining Services’ office in Brossard, in the Solar Uniquartier neighbourhood.
- A minimum of 4 days per week is expected in the office.
- Opportunity to travel based on the candidate's availability.
