The Island Health Division of Respirology has an opportunity for a full time General Respirologist to join two others providing shared respirology services at Nanaimo Regional General Hospital, including clinics, PFT interpretation, bronchoscopy, hospital consults.
The successful candidate will hold Royal College certification in Respirology and be eligible for full licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of BC.
Nanaimo Regional General Hospital (315 acute care beds) which is our regional referral hospital providing services to an immediate population of 125,000 and a secondary referral population of over 350,000. Hospital based services include EEG, EMG, a rehabilitation inpatient unit, CT and MRI.
Academic affiliation with the University of British Columbia (UBC) and the Island Medical School postgraduate and undergraduate programs is available, and NRGH is a UBC Postgraduate Family Practice Residency Program site with 16 family practice residents.
Start Date As soon as possible
