About the role
Key Responsibilities:
- Draft, review, and administer contracts, including vendor agreements, sales contracts, service agreements, and NDAs.
- Ensure contract terms align with company policies, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders such as, procurement, finance, and operations to facilitate contract negotiations and approvals.
- Maintain a comprehensive contract management system for tracking contract statuses, renewals, and compliance requirements.
- Maintain Certificate of Insurance tracking log, Bid requests & Performance bonds
- Identify and mitigate risks associated with contractual agreements and propose solutions to stakeholders. Knowledge of DnB & EDC is an asset.
- Ensure timely execution of contracts and track key contractual milestones, such as renewal and termination dates.
- Monitor customer compliance with contractual obligations.
- Support internal audits and compliance initiatives related to contract management.
- Continuously improve contract processes to enhance efficiency and reduce risk.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- DEC in Paralegal Technology
- 2-5 years of experience in contract administration, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Strong understanding of contract law, procurement processes, and industry regulations.
- Proficiency in contract management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
- Attention to detail and strong organizational abilities.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills for working with diverse stakeholders.
- Ability to handle multiple contracts simultaneously and meet deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with ERP systems.
- Certification in contract management (e.g., Certified Professional Contracts Manager - CPCM) is a plus.
