About the Opportunity
Reporting to the Health Services Manager and working under the supervision or direction of regulated health professionals, the Care Team Assistant provides direct, hands-on care based on the needs of the patient and program/unit. As a member of the collaborative care team, the Care Team Assistant is responsible for supporting patients' activities of daily living and instrumental activities of daily living. The Care Team Assistant also reinforces patient and family teaching according to established guidelines and the plan of care.
About You

- Continuing Care Assistant Program
- Provincial Certification with Department of Health and Wellness

- Current Basic Life Support Certification
- Demonstrates effective listening skills
- Communicates effectively both verbally and in writing
- Competencies in other languages an asset, French preferred
Where there are no applicants with provincial certification the employer may consider candidates who are eligible to write the CCA knowledge exam and obtain certification within 1 year from their date of hire.

Hours
- Full-time short assignment ; 75 Hours Bi-weekly
- Beginning as soon as possible and Ending Feb 1 /2026
- Monday - Friday - 8 hour days
- Dates are appoximate and subject to change
Compensation and Benefits
$24.91 - $27.68 hourly
Successful candidates may be eligible for our benefits package which includes health, dental, travel, long-term disability, and life insurance coverage as well as a defined benefit pension plan.
