We have a busy emergency service conducting approximately 2,300 emergency surgeries per year. Our perinatal unit does approximately 1,200 deliveries per year and is supported by a level 2 NICU. Our main OR was constructed in 2005 and is equipped with state of the art wireless HD laparoscopic equipment. We utilize Drager Zeus anesthetic machines and share access to four ultrasound machines to facilitate regional anesthesia and vascular access. We do a large volume of elective and emergency orthopedic surgery and incorporate regional blocks into patient care as appropriate. We run an outpatient consult clinic three days per week. NRGH has a new state of the art ICU tower which will include 12 ICU beds and a 12 bed high acuity unit. We enjoy good support from critical care and most medical subspecialties.
