Limited Term for 1 year
Reporting to the Team Lead, Demand Generation (North America) you will develop, execute, and manage marketing campaigns to generate engagement and drive demand for SMART solutions. In this dynamic role, you will work cross-functionally across SMART and with regional teams to execute campaigns that directly impact business success. You will contribute to and execute customer-focused, data-driven digital marketing initiatives including paid media, email, and account-based marketing. You are also responsible for ensuring cross-pollination between brand-level activities, solutions-level campaigns and tying those to regional goals and activities.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Develop, execute, monitor, and optimize demand generation campaigns to drive engagement and demand resulting in marketing qualified leads
- Act as a key contributor and influencer in North America’s demand generation strategy, collaborating closely with cross-functional team and like-minded demand generation experts
- Create differentiated messaging and value propositions tailored for regional campaigns and target audiences
- Align with regional POD teams to meet local demand generation goals; ensure stakeholder engagement, campaign localization, and communication effectiveness
- Plan and manage regional events to drive experiential marketing strategies and lead generation
- Maintain a deep understanding of customer journey to develop effective engagement strategies
- Collaborate with global content, creative, and brand teams to create assets that resonate with target audiences
- Build campaign materials such as automated workflows, landing pages, emails, and forms ensuring alignment with SMART’s brand guidelines
- Initiate and manage channel marketing strategies in partnership with sales and leadership teams
- Develop and execute co-marketing campaigns with channel partners in key markets
- Track and report on partner marketing and demand generation activities, providing bi-weekly performance updates aligned to campaign and sales KPIs
- Manage campaign budgets, recommend optimizations, and adjust spend based on market dynamics and effectiveness
- Perform other duties as required
Core Competencies
- Strong knowledge of B2B and digital marketing best practices and emerging trends
- Ability to collaborate with Sales, Brand Marketing, and other stakeholders, while influencing global demand generation efforts
- Deep market awareness with the ability to harmonize messaging and localize marketing campaigns for specific audiences
- Skilled in integrating new and traditional campaign methods (advertising, events, direct marketing) into cohesive strategies
- Proficiency with marketing tools such as HubSpot, SFDC, AdWords, Google Analytics, and Canva
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills, able to influence both internal and external audiences
- Ability to quickly learn SMART’s solutions and adapt to evolving technologies
- Strong analytical skills to track, measure, and optimize campaigns against key performance indicators (KPIs)
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Proactive, positive, and adaptable in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite: PowerPoint, Word, Excel
- Experience in digital or social media strategies
- Experience in working with external marketing agencies and partners
- Ability to work independently in an unstructured, dynamic environment
Education and work experience
- Post-secondary degree in Marketing, Communications, or equivalent job experience
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a regional marketing or campaign role
- Experience in the global primary/secondary education industry experience an asset
Supervision
- This position does not have any direct reports

- Role requires targeted travel within focus markets in the USA, Canada, and EMEA.
- A valid passport is required
- The work environment is fast-paced, dynamic, and continually evolving
