Finning is seeking a customer focused Parts Apprentice (1st Year) to join our dynamic team in Edmonton. Our Finning Parts Team provides an excellent opportunity and diversity to develop exceptional talent, and position the successful candidate into an exciting and rewarding career.
During your apprenticeship, the successful applicant will work closely with a Parts/Warehouse job shadow to learn all aspects of the business. Including Supply Chain/Warehousing, Procurement, Transportation, Warranty, Cores and credits and Parts Sales Front counter and Shop.
The ideal candidate would possess previous experience in sales, warehouse, parts or the heavy duty equipment field. Job Description:
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Parts ordering
- Warehouse and yard clean-up
- Picking and stocking parts
- Loading & unloading
- Other general duties as required
- Service parts orders
**Candidate selection will be in compliance with the terms of the current collective agreement**
Qualifications:
- Successful completion of grade 12
- Willingness to complete the Parts Apprenticeship Program
- Highly motivated, mechanically inclined, with ability to function effectively with minimal supervision in a dynamic team environment
- Excellent organizational, interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
- A high performance, positive attitude and the ability to build and maintain respectful working relationships
- Previous parts or warehouse experience, Forklift and First Aid certification, and experience with DBS, ANTARES and AIMS, would all be assets
- Experience with SIS, AIMS, Antares, SIMSi, InfoCast, Lawson M3, Landmark Smart Office, M3 Sales Automation and the MS Office Package will be considered assets
