About this role:
As a Receptionist at Highland Funeral Home and Cremation Centre located in Scarborough, Ontario, you will have the opportunity to provide outstanding customer service to the families we serve through the exemplary performance of administrative functions and front desk support.

Job Type: Part Time, Permanent, On Call
This is a current vacancy and we are actively seeking to fill the position.
Key Qualifications and Demonstrated Abilities:
- Completion of High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Able to meet some physical demands.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work effectively independently or as part of a team.
- Excellent attention to detail and consistently high level of accuracy.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills; verbal, written and presentation.
- Demonstrates strong customer service skills with the ability to partner with all levels of the organization.
- Exemplifies Arbor’s values of integrity, trust, teamwork, belonging and excellence.
Responsibilities:
- Greeting and assisting families upon their arrival at the funeral home.
- Answering the switchboard, transferring calls internally and to branch locations and forwarding accurate messages to the respective department or individual.
- Responding to general inquiries as required.
- Assisting with the preparation of various rooms during visitations, various rituals, funeral services, receptions and any other related tasks.
- Performing other duties as required.
