SummaryThe Treasury & Planning Analyst will support the company’s financial planning processes and ensuring robust treasury management practices.
The successful candidate will play a key role in forecasting, budgeting, and overseeing the day-to-day treasury operations.
Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and maintain weekly cash flow forecasts, ensuring timely insights into liquidity and cash needs.Act as the Treasury lead and bank account administrator, managing banking relationships and internal access controls.Administer and maintain signing authorities, account access permissions, and related compliance processes.Support the monthly consolidated forecasting process across business units.Lead annual budget modeling and provide input to long-term financial planning.Perform ad hoc financial modeling and scenario analysis to support decision-making.
QualificationsCPA designation or currently working toward CPA.5-8 years related experience in corporate finance, treasury, or financial planning roles.
Key Skills and CompetenciesStrong understanding of cash management, liquidity planning, and treasury operations.Proficiency in financial modeling and forecasting, particularly with Excel and/or financial planning tools.Knowledge of corporate budgeting cycles, planning frameworks, and variance analysis.Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail and accountability.Strong interpersonal skills for managing internal and external stakeholders, including banks.Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.Experience with ERP systems and banking platforms is an asset.
Work EnvironmentBased in Calgary, with a hybrid work model combining remote (2 days) and in-office work (3 days) for flexibility and collaboration.
