Overview:
We’re looking for an experienced Marketing Project Manager to drive operational excellence and accountability in the delivery of high-impact, cross-functional marketing initiatives. In this senior role, you’ll bring structure and clarity to complex projects, ensuring prioritization, timelines, deliverables and expectations are aligned across multiple teams and business areas.
You’ll oversee campaign execution across all our lines of business, including garden, woodworking, hardware and kitchen. This includes managing projects across print, digital, email, in-store and social channels. You’ll work closely with colleagues in creative, e-commerce, merchandising and retail to ensure work is delivered on time, on brand and on budget. This is a hands-on role suited to someone with strong project leadership skills, a collaborative approach and a practical mindset. Certification such as PMP or equivalent is considered a strong asset.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Leadership

Lead proactive planning and execution of integrated marketing campaigns from the development of the brief through to completion of delivery, and coordinate prioritization with stakeholders to align resources with strategic priorities.

Define and validate project scopes with stakeholders, build realistic timelines and coordinate communication between cross-functional resources.

Monitor progress on all active activities/projects, proactively identify risks, manage issues and adjust plans to keep projects on track.

Facilitate the management of changing priorities with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.

Ensure structured quality control processes are embedded within project plans, with clear accountability assigned for QA reviews, brand alignment, and final approvals.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Act as a central point of contact for project progress and tracking across teams, including creative, digital, merchandising, production and retail.
- Coordinate timelines, deliverables, and communication flow with external vendors, freelancers, and translation partners, ensuring they are integrated into the appropriate review and approval processes.
- Communicate clearly and consistently with stakeholders at all levels, setting and managing expectations proactively.
Workflow and Process Management
- Support the continuous improvement of marketing workflows, tools and documentation, driving adoption and training to embed process discipline within the team.
- Maintain and optimize the use of project management systems to support communication with stakeholders and team members.
- Establish and maintain a central master schedule for all marketing initiatives, managing staff & stakeholder inter-dependencies, resource capacity and conflicts.
- Ensure clarity in intake, brief development, feedback cycles and approvals, implementing structured templates and documentation standards.
Reporting and Continuous Improvement
- Track key project metrics, including timing, budget, resourcing and stakeholder feedback.
- Lead post-project reviews to surface insights and refine future processes, including actionable recommendations and assignment of ownership for improvements.
- Provide regular reporting and updates to marketing leadership as needed, highlighting risks, wins, and opportunities for process improvements.
Knowledge and Skills:

Minimum 5 years of experience managing complex marketing or creative projects, preferably in a retail or omnichannel environment.

Strong working knowledge of integrated campaign workflows across digital, print and in-store channels.

Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment, with strong attention to detail and follow-through.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to align teams and build trust.

Experience using project management tools, with demonstrated success in driving adoption across diverse teams.

PMP or comparable project management certification is preferred.

Bilingualism (French and English) is an asset.
