Role Description
This is a virtual contract role for a Casting Manager, for a short film located in Toronto, ON. The Casting Manager will coordinate and manage casting calls, auditions, and casting processes for our short film production. Responsibilities include collaborating with directors and producers to understand casting needs, communicating with potential cast members, scheduling auditions, and providing feedback to both the cast and production team. The Casting Manager will also supervise and lead a casting team, while ensuring a smooth and efficient casting process.
This is an unpaid, IMDb credited role.
Qualifications
- Excellent Communication and Customer Service skills
- Experience in Team Management and Team Leadership
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse set of individuals
- Experience in the film industry, particularly student films, is a plus
- Relevant degree or certification in film, media, or a related field is preferred
