  • Prepare and post all instructional materials, including unit plans, assessment rubrics, and expectations for inspection readiness

  • Maintain an up-to-date LMS course page and gradebook, with clear tracking of student participation and progress

  • Archive all assessment evidence in accordance with Ministry inspection requirements

  • Submit midterm and final reporting, attend parent interviews, and contribute to whole-school accountability timelines

  • Encourage student self-direction and growth through fitness planning, wellness tracking, and informed health choices

  • Collaborate with school leadership to ensure program goals align with overall credit and school expectations

What We Are Looking For:

  • A teacher who builds structure into physical education while ensuring students are active and engaged in every lesson
  • A professional who understands how to support adolescent development and lifelong wellness through purposeful activity
  • Experience creating and managing small-group programming in physical education or health-related fields
  • Clear understanding of the habits and competencies students need to carry into a healthy adult life
  • Ability to balance classroom expectations, documentation, and student growth in a credit-bearing environment

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology, Physical and Health Education, or a related discipline; Bachelor of Education preferred

  • Experience teaching, coaching, or leading wellness programs with adolescents
