What a Day Look Like As a Doors Assembler

• Meet daily production targets for doors assembling units
• Carefully handle parts, materials, equipment, and tools to ensure 0% breakage or damage
• Install hinges and locks, slabs, door frames (sidelite)
• Cut and trim stops
• Follow standard operating procedure to assemble doors within prescribed standard assembly time
• Reject any parts that are damaged and report to supervisor
• Inspect own work prior to hand-off to next station
• Track all products that are required to complete the job build
• Assist with other tasks and projects as assigned
• Ensure operations are completed daily and to standard
• Achieve quality standards with 0% failure rate at next station
• Reject any frame that is damaged and report to supervisor
• Components of Quality Control will be measured and recorded
• Maintain cleanliness of personal workstation and production facility

Requirements

• Live in greater Edmonton area or be willing to relocate
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Leadership experience an asset
• Ability to complete a high volume of work within deadlines
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Exceptional interpersonal skills, a diplomatic demeanor, and an energetic, self-motivated ambitious
• Responsible and punctual
• Manage deadlines and changing priorities in a fast-paced environment
