Horizon Recruitment Inc. is currently working with a growing organization looking to add a Financial Analyst to their team. This position plays a critical role in supporting senior leadership with data-driven insights and financial guidance through budgeting, forecasting, KPI reporting, and special projects. This is a great opportunity for someone with a consulting, FP&A, or financial services background who thrives in a fast-paced, strategic environment.
Responsibilities:
- Support the preparation of key financial insights including budgeting, forecasting, and management reporting
- Lead and maintain reports related to Assets Under Management and key performance metrics
- Build and manage complex Excel-based financial models
- Analyze large data sets from various internal sources to identify trends and strategic insights
- Conduct research and assist with preparing materials for senior stakeholders
- Liaise with teams across the organization to gather financial inputs and ensure alignment
- Support ongoing process improvement and standardization efforts within FP&A
- Contribute to ad hoc financial analysis and special projects as needed
- Maintain a strong focus on accuracy, relevance, and high-quality deliverables
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Commerce, Business, or a related field
- CPA, CFA, or MBA designation strongly preferred
- 2–4 years of experience in FP&A, corporate finance, consulting, or a related field
- Strong financial modeling and advanced Excel skills required
- Experience with Power Query and data visualization tools an asset
- Excellent PowerPoint and presentation-building abilities
- Highly analytical with strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Able to work independently in a high-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
Rewards:
- $80,000 – $90,000 base salary (depending on experience)
