Are you a highly organized, proactive student with a passion for Human Resources? We’re seeking a Co-op Student to support our HR team and recruitment with strong communication skills and attention to detail, ready to support key recruitment and administrative initiatives within our HR team.

About the role:

Reporting to the HR & Talent Team Leader, the HR Co-op Student will assist the recruitment team and with onboarding tasks, file management, and administrative responsibilities, while also covering the front desk reception area twice a week. This co-op / internship opportunity is a 4 month contract.

Location:

This is an onsite role based in our global headquarters in Acton, ON.

Responsibilities:

  • Support the recruitment team by screening incoming resumes, and scheduling interviews

  • Administer onsite testing and/or electronic assessments as required

  • Conduct reference checks, scan, upload, and organize candidate documents and recruitment competition files

  • Assemble new hire packages and support onboarding efforts

  • Assist with updating and formatting job descriptions

  • Provide front desk reception coverage 2 days/week (greet visitors, courier/mail, etc.)

  • Support additional HR projects and administrative duties as needed

  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Currently enrolled in a post-secondary program in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred

  • Strong communication, organizational, and time management skills

  • Comfortable and proficient in using MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook); knowledge of ATS systems is a plus

  • Previous co-op/internship or administrative experience is an asset

  • Must be available to work onsite 5 days per week in our Acton, ON office
