ARE YOU SICK OF BUILDING BOXES? We are currently seeking an enthusiastic Journeyman/woman cabinetmaker to join our team. The ideal candidate must have 3 years of shop experience and be able to work both independently and as part of a group. Their role will primarily focus on the fabrication of our Loop Phone Booth product line, a constantly expanding line of office furniture products. The individual must be comfortable and confident using a variety of power and hand tools. A successful candidate will be detail oriented, produce extremely high-quality work, and must be able to meet strict deadlines.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Fabricating high end office furniture and other consumer products that are designed in house
- Finishing and spraying fine furniture
- Packaging product for shipping.
Desired Skills:
- Excellent woodworking skills using hardwood, veneer, laminate, etc.
- Excellent attention to detail and focus on quality.
- Excellent time management skills and proven track record of meeting deadlines.
- Understanding of LEAN production principles is an asset.
- Experience working in a design related industry is an asset.
- Forklift training is an asset.
- First Aid training is an asset.
Required Experience:
- At least 3 years of experience working in a woodworking or cabinetmaking shop setting (Required).
- Red Seal Journeyman/Journeywoman Ticket in Cabinetry welcome to apply.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $21.00-$31.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 42.5 per week
