About the role

A leading Canadian quick service restaurant brand is seeking a highly organized and creative Marketing & Brand Specialist to join their dynamic team. Reporting to the Brand Manager, this role supports the planning and execution of national marketing initiatives, facilitates communication with franchise partners, and ensures seamless delivery of promotional programs and campaigns across the system.

This is an excellent opportunity for a driven and detail-oriented individual with early career marketing experience in QSR or retail, who is eager to make an impact on a well-loved and growing brand.

Description

  • Brand Management Support
  • Assist the Brand Manager with annual planning, promotional execution, brand partnerships, and organizing marketing-related events and internal meetings.
  • Promotional Campaign Execution
  • Support the rollout of national promotions, including preparing sell sheets, franchise memos, email updates, and website content.
  • Third-Party Delivery Promotions
  • Collaborate on developing promotional strategies for delivery platforms—balancing creative ideation, guest appeal, and franchisee profitability.
  • Competitive Monitoring
  • Track competitor marketing activities and provide timely reports and insights to help inform marketing strategies.
  • Guest Experience & In-Store Marketing
  • Ensure successful execution of national point-of-sale materials and merchandising programs to elevate the in-store guest experience.
  • Franchisee Support & Field Visits
  • Conduct monthly store visits to support franchisees, strengthen operational understanding, and identify local marketing opportunities.
  • General Marketing Support
  • Contribute to marketing department initiatives and provide administrative support to both the Brand Manager and VP of Marketing as needed.

Requirements

  • Post-secondary education in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
  • 1–2 years of marketing experience, ideally in QSR or retail.
  • Strong multitasking skills and high attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Collaborative, positive attitude with a proactive approach to challenges.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Ability to travel occasionally for store visits and events.
